Query Language Explanation

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

change strategy

finds documents containing "change" or "strategy"

change or strategy

same as above

change and strategy

finds documents containing both "change" and "strategy"

change not strategy

finds documents containing "change" but not "strategy"

(change not strategy) and ZLE

finds documents containing "ZLE" plus "change", but not "strategy"

web*

finds documents containing words starting with "web"
